EDC Las Vegas, the yearly EDM festival that is set to take place on June 17th – 19th, has announced that this year’s festival will feature a “vape village”.
If you’re as confused as I was when I first heard about it, read on.
Apparently the festival security guidelines prohibit attendees from bringing in their own e-liquid, but they can bring their mods and empty tanks. The vape village will be the place to go inside of the festival to refill your vape with (probably) overpriced juice that will be provided from “a variety of name-brand vendors”. They have yet to announce exactly which vendors those will be, however.
Another way to rip off festival-goers, or a thoughtful move that will allow attendees to vape while still protecting everyone’s security? Your call. But I lean towards the former.
Introducing #VapeVillage , welcoming all vapers attending EDC Las Vegas! Important Message While refillable vape pens, eGo devices, mods, and APVs will be allowed at EDC Las Vegas, you will not be allowed to bring E-Liquid or E-Juice of any kind into the venue due to festival and security guidelines. Only EMPTY mods and tanks will be allowed inside, so please make sure to empty all liquid out of your canisters before entering. A selection of premium liquids from a variety of name-brand vendors will be available in our Vape Village, located just outside Carnival Square. #EDC20
