There are tons of CBD products on the market from companies similar to Green Roads. It’s not just oil these days either. Lots of companies are offering edibles – such as gummies and even honey straws.
If you aren’t familiar with CBD, it can be good for anxiety and pain, it’s legal and doesn’t make you high. All good things.
Green Roads sent me some of their products to try and since I wasn’t very familiar with the company I was excited to give it a try. You never know what you’re going to get when you try something new.
Maybe awesome.
Maybe crap.
Maybe mediocre.
Green Roads Relax Gummies
First off, I went for the Green Roads Relax 300 mg gummies.
I love the ease of delivery of gummies. Just grab a couple, chew them up and wait a half hour to an hour for them to take an effect. Nothing to pour, fill, measure, or clean up after. I was disappointed when I opened up the bottle.
All my glorious little gummies were just a multi-colored jumble of goo.
Ugh.
Now, I can’t speak for how long the postal service had them, but they had been in air conditioning ever since I got them. And it’s been majorly hot lately, so I’m giving Green Roads the benefit of the doubt that the multi-colored goo was a result of shipment, not manufacturing.
So, I grabbed, scrapped and tugged out as close to two at a time as I could. Not bad on the flavor, because I have to tell you, sometimes CBD gummies taste like absolute butt.
So, flavor isn’t awesome, but it’s chewable. And these are very, very chewable gummies.
As far as effectiveness, I didn’t notice much from Green Roads Relax 300 mg gummies. From my take, I nothing different than regular old gummy bears. Not worth the $54.99 they sell for to me.
But, as I always say, what works for one may not work for another and vice versa. If you are interested, give it a shot.
Next up, Green Roads Strawberry AK 100 mg Terpenes.
I gotta say, I didn’t notice any strawberry. Nada. But, Green Roads Strawberry AK Terpenes had a pretty good taste. So often CBD had a nasty after taste, one thing always reminds me of pumpkin seeds. Basically, I find myself dreading swallowing it after it’s been under my tongue. But Green Roads Strawberry AK Terpenes went down pretty smooth.
As far as Green Roads Strawberry AK Terpenes being effective, for me it was like taking acetaminophen. But, again, everyone is different. Personally, I have a pretty high tolerance for things, so 100 mg is pretty low for what I usually use.
A 15 ml bottle of Green Roads Strawberry AK 100 mg Terpenes sells for $37.99, which isn’t bad as far as CBD prices go.
Last up I tried Green Roads 350 mg CBD oil.
Green Roads CBD oil
It’s not flavored and not really that pleasant to put under your tongue and then swallow. But, it’s not gag-you nasty. Which is always a bonus. When it’s effective you basically look at it as a necessary evil.
As far as being effective, I was impressed for a 350 mg level. Mildly relaxing and calming.
Green Roads CBD oil didn’t really do much for my chronic pain, but did help with anxiety, which if you deal with anything like I do, then you’ll take any relief you can get. A 15 mg bottle of Green Roads CBD oil sells for $64.99, which seems kind of steep for me. But, CBD can be expensive.
Bottom line, I wasn’t totally thrilled with Green Roads CBD products. Don’t get me wrong, the three that I had the opportunity to try weren’t bad.
Minus my multi-colored ball of gummy goo, I didn’t have any problems with Green Roads CBD products. The problem would be that I did not really see any benefits from Green Roads CBD products either. When I drop my money on a product, I was it to do what it says it will.
From my own personal perspective, I would rank Green Roads CBD in the mediocre category. Goodness knows, I’ve had worse.
