The LUX is sleek, small portable vaporizer from VaporWild, advertised as giving you the freedom to vape what you want, when you want. This 2-in-1 vape includes everything that you need to get started with vaping both dry herbs and oils, all in one easy to assemble kit.
Components
The contents of the box include: Base battery, cleaning tool, 2 dry herb tanks, 1 botanical oil tank, mouthpiece, wall charger, carrying pouch and an instructions card.
It’s important to note that the product page on VaporWild’s website claims that it contains 2 oil tanks and 1 dry herb tank, but in my box it was reversed with 2 tanks for herbs and one for oil.
Dry Herb Performance
After making sure that the base was fully charged, I decided to go ahead and try out the dry herb tank first.
Filling up this tank is straightforward: just put your dry herbs into the tank after removing the top portion, snap the mouthpiece on, and start vaping. Simple and effective.
The vapor was surprisingly smooth, flavorful and consistent after each draw on the device. I’m always a little bit hesitant when trying out dry herb vapes because, in my experience, most of them flat out suck. Most vapes of this size will give you one or two good hits and then you have to start the process all over again. I was able to get significantly more vapor out of the LUX compared to most of the other portable dry herb vapes in my collection. Additionally I never once experienced any burning of my herbs, thank god. Nothing pisses me off more than when I’m “vaping” and end up inhaling a shitload of smoke.
Oil Performance
The oil attachment manages to be even simpler to use than the dry herb attachments: Just fill it up, snap on the mouthpiece and you’re ready to go. It doesn’t get any easier than that.
The performance was comparable to the dry herb attachment: Smooth, consistent vapor without any harsh burning taste.
Battery Life
One of the best features of the LUX is the surprisingly long battery life. A single charge lasted me a full day of vaping at a moderate frequency. Unless you’re vaping every couple of minutes, there should be no need to lug around the charger with you everywhere you go.
Bottom Line
The LUX is a solid choice if you’re looking for a multi-functional oil and herbal blend vape that you can take on-the-go. The construction is solid, it’s extremely easy to use, and the performance is decidedly above average. Highly recommended to beginners as well as advanced vapers who want something simple for their portable vaping needs.
