Mad Teddy is, as you can imagine from the name, a teddy bear themed e-juice brand manufactured by Castle Rock International. The juice comes in two different flavors: Blueberry Parfait and Ultimate Custard.
Ultimate Custard
If you’re a fan of custard flavors, you’ve most likely had one just like this before. As with the ridiculously popular fruit loops flavors, we’ve reached the point where it’s pretty hard to innovate and add something new to custard flavors. All that’s left is to make small tweaks and use high quality ingredients so that your custard flavor stands out just a little bit more compared to the competition.
Mad Teddy has definitely achieved that goal. It’s really easy for e-juice companies to add in a little bit of generic “custard” flavoring, squeeze in some sweetener and call it a day. But the attention to detail is evident in Ultimate Custard. The subtle vanilla note adds just a tad of complexity on both the inhale and the exhale to the otherwise simplistic powerful blast of delicious custard flavoring.
Blueberry Parfait
A parfait is a delicious dessert that combines layers of ice cream, whipped cream, fruit, and other delicious treats in a tall glass of awesomeness. This blueberry parfait flavor does an excellent job of recreating the flavor of that disgustingly unhealthy but tasty dessert in e-juice form.
The blueberry flavoring is quite well done. It’s not a fresh blueberry flavor, and it’s not an overly sweetened candy flavor either. It reminds me of that gooey blueberry mixture that you use when making a blueberry pie (or in this case, parfait). The creaminess of this e-juice is subtle enough to create the complexity that this type of flavor requires, but not powerful enough to overtake the blueberry flavoring. The creaminess is definitely much more noticeable on the exhale, where it’s joined by a barely noticeable nutty flavor.
Both flavors were sampled using a Wulf Mods Hell Hound mechanical box mod and RDA kit at a 0mg nicotine level.
