The Law in Ontario
The Government of Ontario has instituted new rules related to vaping that will take place January 1, 2016. Among the changes:
In the new year, it will be illegal to:
- Sell or supply electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) and component parts (e.g. battery, atomizer, liquid) to anyone under 19 years of age
- You can also expect to see new signage for retailers to display relating to the prohibition of selling these products to persons under the age of 19.
