Let me start by saying two things.
First, I absolutely love to try new juice flavors. Any opportunity to try some new concoction is right up my alley.
Second, I hate having to write bad reviews.
Yup, I was sent some that I just didn’t care for.
White Cloud Electronic Cigarettes sent me four samples of its new e-liquid line, including the Zero K, CIN, Copper Kettle and The Orchard.
White Cloud is known for their disposable cartridge system and has done well with it. The company recently added a mini-tank system and introduced a line of e-juice. The line is manufactured in nicotine strengths compared to a package of cigarettes, such as the 0.08 percent nicotine by volume I was sent is compared to ultra lights. You definitely need to pay attention to nicotine levels on these if you are a standard juice user because the terminology is different.
The bottles came in awesome, slick packaging, definitely caught my attention right away.
And, man, did they smell good before ever being opened!
Zero K is peppermint with a taste of menthol, CIN is straight up cinnamon, Copper Kettle is caramel and The Orchard is a mix of apples and cranberries.
I grabbed a new coil (always a must when reviewing a new flavor) and got my set up ready with The Orchard. I used my standard go-to Cleito 120 tank and the awesome Michael Box Mod.
During the fill up process I loved the scent coming from the liquid and was excited to try it. Finally, I had the coil primed and was ready to give it a go.
The flavor wasn’t bad, kind of sweet. I wasn’t really getting the fruit flavors distinctively, but just a general sweet taste. My problem with The Orchard is that the flavor don’t wow. It doesn’t make me grab my mod and say “I want more.” It wasn’t bad, it was vapable but with no wow factor.
As I am a huge fan of anything cinnamon, and cinnamon apple just naturally goes together, I popped open the CIN and added about a dropper full to my partial tank of The Orchard.
This, my friend, was amazing. It seemed to enhance The Orchard and the CIN certainly had a kick.
When I tried CIN straight, I wasn’t as thrilled. It’s just simply too strong. The throat hit is a burning sensation, even when set low. Even though I’ve never found a cinnamon candy I can’t eat, I can’t vape CIN straight. It’s just too much.
I ran into a similar problem with Zero K. I’ll be honest, I’ve never been a menthol fan, but I’m always willing to try something new. This bottle smelled like Heaven, as I love peppermint too. But this juice also is just way to strong. On a low watt, one hit of this juice is like eating an entire tin of Altoids in 10 seconds. A burn-your-nose-hair kind of feeling. And not really a pleasant one.
Copper Kettle had a good taste but it is a thick and heavy juice, and by this I mean the flavor. Kind of a hang around on the tongue, coat the back of your throat flavor, if you know what I mean.
Now, remember, everyone has different taste buds. Everyone has different likes and dislikes. Some people like things mild and others like it strong. While this line didn’t wow me, that doesn’t mean that someone else won’t fall into love with it.
I know that I plan to keep The Orchard and CIN in my stash, because together they are awesome.
If you read a flavor description and you are thinking you want to give it a try, then go ahead. You just may find something you love, even I didn’t.
At $19.99 for 30 ml, it’s not too pricey to give it a try. And if you don’t care for it, you can always mix it up with something else.
Now, while this line is meant to go with the mini-tank system, it can be used with traditional vape tanks, according to the company’s website. Maybe if you are into the mini-tank it will vape differently for you.
I can only say what happened with the Cleito 120 and the Limitless RDTA.
Life’s short, if you’re on the edge, give it a try.
If you aren’t interested, then pass it by.
