Appearance
Each Fling e-cig comes individually sealed in an easy to open pouch. The pouch features a picture of the device above a colorful portion that displays the flavor/flavor description. The back of the pouch includes a brief description and an ingredients list. The list of ingredients should ease the mind of people who are worried about what exactly goes into the manufacture of the vapor that they’re inhaling.

The Fling Wide Mini itself is a small device with a white plastic body and a clear mouthpiece attached at the end. The body of the e-cig (not including the mouthpiece) is about as long as my finger. So obviously this is an extremely small and portable electronic cigarette that will easily fit in a pocket or purse. To be honest, I find that the aesthetics of the Fling Wide Mini are slightly lacking. It seems more utilitarian in appearance when compared to other e-cigs. If that’s something that you care about then that could be a problem. But, as always, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Maybe you think I’m crazy and this is the most gorgeous looking electronic cigarette you’ve ever laid eyes on. Tomato tamato.
The construction feels incredibly solid for a disposable e-cig. It is made out of a hard plastic material that would probably crack if you ran over it with a Mack truck, but for normal day-to-day use it holds up perfectly. You won’t have to worry about what will happen if (when) you accidentally drop your e-cig.
Ease of Use
The Fling Wide Mini, like most disposable e-cigs, is extremely easy to use. It’s draw-activated, meaning that you don’t have to press a button to create the vapor. Once you take a puff on the device, it instantly heats up the liquid and creates a thick cloud of vapor. This is ideal for beginners who simply want something that mimics the feel of traditional cigarettes.
There is no need to charge the Fling Wide Mini before vaping. Simply remove it from the pouch and start puffing away. When it eventually runs out of juice then chuck it in the trash. This intuitive and simple way of vaping is very appealing to me. While I do love my complicated mech mods and my box mods with their fancy shmancy temperature control features, there is a time and a place for something that doesn’t require any of my focus. Sometimes I just want to pick up my vape and get a quick little bit of vapor without worrying about the bullshit. The Fling Wide Mini fits the bill for those situations perfectly.
Most people who are just getting started with vaping tend to be confused by the complexity of the huge mods that they see most people using. If you count yourself among the ranks of people who want something that just works without the fuss, the Fling Wide Mini is a phenomenal choice.
Performance
So how does it vape?
I was pleasantly surprised by the large amount of vapor that this little thing produced. According to White Cloud, they have managed to pack an astounding 2mL of e-liquid into the small frame of the Fling Wide Mini. How long that amount of e-liquid will last is up to you, but I’ve been taking frequent puffs off of this device for several days now and it doesn’t seem like I’m in any danger of running out any time soon. Needless to say, you get your money’s worth with this neat little vape.
Vaping with the Fling Wide Mini feels incredibly natural. The airflow is amazing and, as previously mentioned, it creates thick clouds of rich, flavorful vapor. I’m not bullshitting you when I say that it doesn’t even feel like I’m using a cig-a-like when I vape with this. When it comes to both flavor and quantity of vapor produced, the Fling Wide Mini is VERY close to being comparable to vaping with a small box mod. Of course, no disposable e-cig will give you an exact replication of the mod vaping experience, but this is as close as it gets.
Flavors
White Cloud has truly knocked it out of the park with their flavor selection. I’ve tried some disposable e-cigs from other companies that were great, but eventually I got tired of the same two or three flavors and wanted something different.
You won’t have that problem here.
The Fling Wide Mini is available in an astounding 26 different flavors. I didn’t have the opportunity to try them all, but the ones that I did try were phenomenal:
- Regular – This is the classic rich tobacco flavor. If you’re looking to simulate the cigarette smoking experience, this flavor is a great choice.
- Cinna-mmm – This oddly named flavor is designed to replicate a cinnamon cereal. To me it tasted like a spot-on impersonation of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
- Zero – K – This one is branded as being an intense cool flavor. The cooling sensation is similar to menthol, but with a little bit of a twist. It kind of reminds me of that flavor that all blue chewing gum has.
- Cin – This is a pure blast of cinnamon flavor without the sweetness of the Cinna-mmm flavor. If you’re a fan of Big Red, you’ll want to get your hands on this one.
- Menthol – This is a replication of the classic menthol tobacco flavoring. If you’ve ever tried menthol before, you know exactly what you’re getting with this flavor.
I wasn’t able to sample any of the other 21 flavors, but if they are anything like the ones I did try then you won’t be disappointed.
Bottom Line
The White Cloud Fling Wide Mini is a fantastic choice for new vapers who want something simple and intuitive. The performance on this thing blows away the competition in the disposable e-cigarette category. I find that the appearance is lacking, but the performance, battery life, and large amount of e-juice as well as the abundance of flavors more than make up for that one little downside.
I would highly recommend the Fling Wide Mini to anyone who is looking for a low-cost disposable electronic cigarette.
